An Indo-Italian workshop is scheduled to be organized on the sidelines of International Conference and Workshop on Nanostructured Ceramics and other Nanomaterials (ICWNCN-2012). This workshop is being organized jointly by the Prof. Ram Pal Tandon, Department of Physics and Astrophysics, University of Delhi and Prof. (Dr.) Lidia Szpyrkowicz, Scientific Counsellor, Embassy of Italy.
Italian delegation will be led by Prof. Alvise Benedetti. Several Italian scientist have confirmed their participation in ICWNCN such as Prof. Elisabetta Agostinelli, Institute of Structure of Matter – CNR, Prof. Filippo Giannazzo, CNR-IMM, Prof. Davide P. Cozzoli, University of Salento, Prof. Carlo Bottani, Energy Department, Italy, Prof. Beatrice Fraboni, Università di Bologna, Prof. Anna Cavallini, University of Bologna, Prof. Carlo S. Casari, Department of Energy NEMAS – Center for NanoEngineered Materials and Surfaces Politecnico di Milano, Italy to name few.
Objective of this workshop is to promote development of science in the field of nanotechnology by possible collaborations between scientific communities of India and Italy, to encourage interaction between scientists, academicians and young scientists of two countries. This workshop will pave the way for the future joint development of scientific projects through collaborations between India, a growing scientific and emerging economy and Italy with an established scientific infrastructure.
Indo-Italian Workshop will comprise Invited Lectures by Eminent Italian Scientists within the scope of theme of workshop.
